The Thrill Penguin video game legitimately has some of the best platforming I’ve ever seen in a game. Character control is *perfectly* satisfying and responsive.

If the people working on Mario decided to make a real fast-paced platformer, I imagine it would play something similar. Really, really great. The levels are designed in a way that makes it possible to basically keep progressing as you get better at them, and they’re fun enough that I actually found me replaying them. playing just to see how fast I can beat them.

It almost feels like a racing game, where it’s a lot of fun hitting the slopes and corners alone. They really enjoy it. It has great controls and fast technology. The gold medals on each level are a fun challenge to look for, but they’re nothing too crazy so you don’t get stuck trying the same level over and over again.

Another bonkers, super-hard (yet casual) platformer from the mad-mouthed Sylph. Thrill Penguin is a wonderful companion piece to Garlic (Sylph’s previous platformer game) – this one is a bit slower, with more focus on the cute-but-evil penguin belly. If you like games like Celeste and Super Meat Boy, definitely pick this one up (and Garlic).

Hand-crafted level design, with very flexible mechanics that offer many possibilities and ways to pass the level, without struggling too much in easy/normal mode.

Highly recommended, especially for the price offered. Give me a gun. If you like platformers, you’ll have a great time with this one!
